SGPC OPENS COVID CARE CENTRE AT TALWANDI SABO

BATHINDA : The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Saturday opened a 50-bed Covid care facility at Takht Damdama Sahib at Bathinda’s Talwandi Sabo.

SGPC chief Bibi Jagir Kaur said covid patients will be provide free health care.

Shiromani Akal Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal said the state government should convert marriage palaces, banquets etc as temporary hospitals to treat patients. He also demanded that Covid care facility should be withdrawn from the Advanced Cancer Institute in Bathinda as cancer patients are highly prone to virus infection.
