Jind central coop bank polls deferred

The Haryana government has decided to defer election of the board of directors of Jind Central Cooperative Bank Ltd in view of lockdown due to fresh surge in Covid-19 cases. Issuing orders in this regard, additional chief secretary (cooperation) Sanjeev Kaushal said registrar, cooperative societies, has been authorised to defer similar elections of other societies already fixed or scheduled prior to June 30.
