Bhiwani man held for black marketing of remdesivir

ROHTAK: The Bhiwani police have arrested a man for black marketing remdesivir injection. Police received a complaint from a Bhiwani man that he had brought his mother to a private hospital on April 27 after her situation deteriorated. “She tested positive. Complainant purchased remdesivir injections at Rs 70,000 from a medical store staff Inder. His mother died on May 5. When the complainant returned the injections, Inder refused to take it back. We produced him before court and he was sent on one-day police remand,” police said.
