HP: Essential shops to remain open for 3 hrs

SHIMLA: Chief minister (CM) Jai Ram Thakur on Saturday decided to tighten restrictions in the state from May 10. All shops, except those dealing with daily needs and essential commodities, will remain closed. The essential shops, however, will remain open only for three hours a day and the timing will be fixed by the DCS. All public transport will remain suspended till further orders and private vehicles will be allowed in emergencies.
