Sidhu’s caste card
Playing the caste card, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu gave “Jatt’s jubaan” to the audience to end mafia raj if voted to power in the 2022 assembly elections. “Either Navjot Singh Sidhu will stay or the mafia. Jubaan dinda Jatt, Punjab de nakshe ton mafia raj mita diyanga’ (A Jatt is giving his words that he will eradicate mafia from the map of Punjab),” he said, adding a rally in Barnala in favour of former Congress MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon.
