Kataru Chak’s ‘no comment’ video goes viral

Cabinet minister Lal Chand Kataru Chak has not had an easy start. At the start of his stint, there were gaps in wheat procurement. Then, he drew flak for being evasive on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’S Rajya Sabha member and Haryana in-charge Sushil Gupta’s statement that by 2025, the party, if voted to power, would ensure construction of the SYL and its water to every field. At a press conference in Gurdaspur recently, the minister was asked about Gupta’s statement but he said ‘no comment’. Asked again if Punjab’s water will go to Haryana, he again said ‘no comment’. A video on his reply went viral on social media, drawing negative remarks for the minister.
