Grenade found in army officer’s luggage at airport

SRINAGAR: An Armyman was detained at Srinagar Airport on Monday after a live grenade was recovered from his luggage. Officials said that he is posted in a Rashtriya Rifles unit in south Kashmir and was going to board a Chennai bound flight via Delhi. The soldier was taken into custody and is being investigated. The airport director refused to comment. The matter is being investigated.
