Tata tech plans to set up EV centre in Punjab

CHANDIGARH: Tata Technologi­es along with global industry partners and LTSU (Lamrin Tech Skills University) on Wednesday announced to set up a common facility centre in electric vehicle domain, which will cater to developing skills needed in the field of EV. A delegation of Tata Technologi­es called on CM Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday. the delegation comprising global CEO, Tata Technologi­es, Warren Harris, president, global HR, and IT, Pawan Bhageria and others evinced interest to set up the unit in the state with an investment of Rs 250 crore and future investment of Rs 1,600 crore.
