SC stand on Covid vaccination right
Kudos to the Supreme Court for upholding the citizens’ right on whether to get vaccinated or not. It is clear by now that Covid vaccines do not prevent transmission, that natural infections confer a strong and durable immunity, and that there are some rare but serious effects of the jab. An uninfected person, regardless of his vaccination status, does not pose any risk to others. It is easy for the proponents of vaccine mandates to call for tighter restrictions on the unvaccinated, but would they be willing to compensate those who suffer from adverse effects? Varun Das
