Kundu faces flak
The Himachal Pradesh government’s decision to cancel the constable recruitment examination after the paper leak has drawn criticism from the various quarters as 75,000 candidates will have to take the exam again. Gauging the situation, chief minister Jai Ram Thakur last week skipped the function organised on the historic Ridge to felicitate police orchestra band “Harmony of the pines” that shot to fame after its spectacular performance in a TV reality show. However, urban development minister Suresh Bhardwaj and director general of police Sanjay Kundu compensated for the CM’S absence. They performed “naati”. The DGP, however, faced criticism on social media as people questioned him for dancing on the day his department faced flak for paper leak.
