Rewari judge, wife booked for abetment to suicide

ROHTAK: A 28-year-old Haryana Police constable, who was deputed in the security cover of a judge in Rewari, allegedly shot himself using his service revolver at Rohtak’s Bhalot village on Wednesday. An empty liquor bottle and a suicide note were recovered. “Victim’s father Prem Singh, of Kiloi, had accused Rewari additional district judge Harbir Singh Dahiya and his wife of harassing his son and the same was mentioned in the suicide note. We have booked the judge and his wife under Sections 306 and 34 of the IPC,” the SHO added.
