Use power judiciously
With the record-breaking heatwave leading to a power crisis in the state, the PSPCL has urged people to use power judiciously. While the government and PSPCL are duty-bound to ensure uninterrupted power supply, customers should cooperate with authorities to ease the situation. Already, the power demand has increased by 46% this year and the farming community also needs electricity to irrigate their fields during the paddy season. Technical snags have exacerbated the power scarcity. In this situation, it is our moral duty to minimise power consumption.
