India’s ethos incompatible with capitalist countries in G20
Apropos “G20: India’s Development Model Can Lead the Way” (November 16, 2022), India’s eagerness to dispense assistance to countries in distress may be iconic, but extending relief even at the cost of the welfare of its people is repugnant. For example, during the COVID19 pandemic, India shipped COVID vaccines even when its people suffered diabolic fatalities; and then subsequent to the Ukraine war, India’s overtures of exporting wheat and rice in utter disregard for the food security of its own people was extremely deprecated. Moreover, India’s development model based on austerity and prudence may not find favours with the opulent and affluent capitalist countries overbearingly comprising the G20 bloc.
