Rahul Gupta appointed V-C of Ayurved varsity

HOSHIARPUR: IAS officer Rahul Gupta, additional secretary, department of medical sciences and research, has been given additional charge of vice-chancellor of Guru Ravidas Ayurved University in Hoshiarpur. He would work in this capacity till the appointment of a regular V-C. In the orders issued to this effect, the governor has asked the Punjab government to initiate the procedure for the regular appointment of the V-C.
