Lower voting age to 16

Many countries are lowering the voting age to16 years. New Zealand has issued a draft legislation on this for debate. Why not India? Democracy will become more pious and vibrant with innocent minds getting a say in choosing governments. A healthy diet, all-round awareness and literacy have made these youngsters smart and innovative.
