Referring to Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s recent remarks against fellow party leader Sachin pilot, Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala on Friday launched a scathing attack on Congress, saying that the grand old party is breaking from within.

“A gaddar (traitor) cannot be chief minister... the Congress high command cannot make Sachin Pilot the chief minister... a man who doesn’t have 10 MLAS. Who revolted. He betrayed the party, (he) is a traitor,” Gehlot said in a interview to a news channel on Thursday.

Dushyant said that senior Congress leaders were attacking each other as earlier it was

Kiran Chaudhary in Haryana, who had spoken against its state president Udai Bhan and now it’s Gehlot, who lashed out at former state chief Pilot on Thursday.

“This shows that the grandold party is moving towards ‘Bharat todo, not Bharat jodo’,” Dushyant told reporters on a query related to the yatra, led by party leader Rahul Gandhi.

The deputy chief minister was at Ambala’s Tau Devi Lal Bhawan to address workers of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) workers and invite them for the party’s 5th foundation day celebrations in Bhiwani on December 9.

He was accompanied by district president Dalbir Punia, state spokesperson Vivek Chaudhary and other party leaders.
