Spurious drugs ruining India’s image globally

Unbridled avarice of some black sheep operating in the pharma sector based in Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, both Bjp-ruled states, have dealt a shattering blow to the image of the country as being a global pharmaceutical hub. If the law-enforcing agencies had initiated legal proceedings against them with alacrity and promptitude, our image as a global supplier of authentic and reasonably priced drugs could have been salvaged considerably. Our Make in India programme will fall flat if such black sheep continue to operate with impunity as indicated by the non-registration of FIRS and no arrests. Roshan Lal Goel Ladwa
