SC upholding constitution’s integrity

Apropos, editorial, ‘Constitution’s courage, hope’, Indian Constitution came into being on November 26, 1949, after an exhaustive study of the world’s best constitutions, by Indian experts. It is now the envy of the political world and Indians have happily adopted it for over seven decades, in letter and spirit. Its original articles consisted of 395 articles and now increased to 448 articles. In recent times, due to political upheaval, and ideology disagreement with this document, it is under palpable threat. Supreme Court lately has taken serious note of it and seems active to protect it with its directive authority. BM Singh Amritsar
