AAP leadership looks headed for self-goal

-

Ditching Anna Hazare’s apolitical movement, AAP came to existence and reached the corridors of power on the India against corruption and VIP culture-free society plank. But recent events and presentday activities of AAP functionaries have smashed that image. Videos have surfaced whereby money is demanded for allotment of municipal corporation tickets, money changing hands in excise policy and above all VIP treatment given to Satyendra Jain in prison, don’t endorse the plank on which the AAP ascended the throne. So far, no action has been taken against any of the accused, rather they have been defended. It will not help the AAP expand its base. A person with ambition to have a foothold in other states needs to introspect. Otherwise, it will prove to be a self-goal for the AAP.
