Govt to rechristen schools named on caste, fraternity basis

CHANDIGARH School education minister Harjot Singh Bains has issued an order to rename all government schools which have been named on the basis of caste and fraternity. Bains said it has come to his notice that several schools in the state have names associated with a caste or community.
