‘THIS YEAR HAS BEEN POSITIVE’

Disha Patani is excited that she started 2018 with Baaghi 2 and is ending the year shooting with Salman Khan

Hindustan Times (Chandigarh) - City - - TIME OUT -

Having started the year with a bang, Disha Patani is now set to end the year on a high note. The actor is currently shooting for the last schedule of Bharat in Mumbai, and will wrap-up the shoot by the end of the year. While she started the year with the action entertainer, Baaghi 2, which was a box-office success, Disha is happy that she gets to end 2018 on the sets of another action film.

A source reveals, “While Disha shot for Baaghi 2 in Thailand, and the picturesque location of backwaters in Kerala, Bharat is being shot at an elaborate set in Mumbai. Working with Tiger Shroff and Salman Khan — the biggest action heroes in Bollywood was extremely special for her. The actor essays the role of a trapeze artist in the Salman Khan starrer and has shot for extensive action sequences in a circus set up in the first schedule. Slipping into the character of a trapeze artist, the actor has been working relentlessly on the sets to add authenticity to her character. Disha trained in Mixed Martial Arts and gymnastics for the film along with following a strict diet.”

Talking about it, Disha says, “The year 2018 has been great for me. I have always been fond of working in actionpacked films, and luckily, both my films this year have fulfilled my wishes. The unprecedented success of Baaghi 2, my second film after MS Dhoni (2016), got me a lot of love from fans across the globe. Bharat has been very special for me, as I bagged a role opposite Salman Khan so early in my career. My role in Bharat has been very challenging. This year has been a positive year to me and I am very grateful.”
