After their dreamlike wedding celebrations in Jodhpur, actor Priyanka Chopra and actor-singer Nick Jonas threw an elegant reception in the Capital, on Tuesday. The grand event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gifted the newlyweds a rose each and congratulated them.

The bride introduced both the sides of the family to the PM. And as she introduced her brother-in-law Joe Jonas, and his fiancée Sophie Turner to PM Modi, she said, “Inki bhi shaadi hone waali hai.”

The couple posed for shutterbugs in front of the NP logo (a signature motif of their wedding functions and decor).

She introduced her families to the media, too, saying, “Ab apko family se milwatey hain,” before the family posed for the photo.

Nick chose a dapper blue velvet suit for the evening. Priyanka looked gorgeous in a champagne lehenga-choli that had silver embellishment, by Falguni Shane Peacock. She opted for a three-string diamond necklace. She completed her Indian bridal look with chooda and sindoor. Her bun was adorned with white roses, a key element of the decor. Another reception in Mumbai is expected soon.

It was a confluence of the who’s who when the newly-wed couple, actor Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas hosted their wedding reception in the Capital on Tuesday evening.

Guests included fashion designers Ritu Beri, Ritu Kumar, Raghavendra Rathore, and FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India) president Sunil Sethi.
