EMC pro­vides in­ter­est-free loans to its em­ploy­ees to ac­quire as­sets; for emer­gen­cies or to meet any other fi­nan­cial obli­ga­tions. The em­ploy­ees are ex­pected to plan their ex­pen- di­ture and avail of loans pru­dently and re­spon­si­bly. As part of the ed­u­ca­tion as­sis­tance pol­icy, EMC en­cour­ages em­ploy­ees to con­tin­u­ally en­hance their abil­ity to con­trib­ute to the success of EMC and ad­vance their ca­reers. As­sist­ing em­ploy­ees with the cost of ex­ter­nal ed­u­ca­tion pro­grammes is one way in which EMC car­ries out its com­mit­ment to em­ployee devel­op­ment

The EMC In­dia Cen­tre of Ex­cel­lence (COE) was con­cep­tu­alised as part of EMC’s glob­al­i­sa­tion vi­sion and mis­sion driven by three tenets: Lo­cal rel­e­vance through prod­uct lo­cal­i­sa­tion, com­mu­nity involvement, and grow­ing government and aca­demic re­la­tion­ships Ac­cel­er­ated in­ter­na­tional growth by ex­plor­ing new part­ner­ship models, in­ter­na­tional in­vest­ments and ex­pand­ing ge­o­graph­i­cal pres­ence In­no­va­tion and tal­ent through op­er­a­tional ex­cel­lence, hir­ing and honing world-class tal­ent, and in­no­vat­ing across all spheres of the or­gan­i­sa­tion Our mis­sion and vi­sion de­fine the over­all di­rec­tion and ob­jec­tives and tell ev­ery em­ployee where their job and needed out­comes fit within the big­ger com­pany strat­egy. The team’s per­for­mance and ex­pected out­comes are aligned with area of the or­gan­i­sa­tion and with the over­all mis­sion and vi­sion

How di­verse is your work­force?

We have a di­verse work­force with em­ploy­ees from ev­ery part of the coun­try and globe. EMC In­dia strives to pro­mote di­ver­sity with the larger aim of achiev­ing in­clu­sive­ness in so­ci­ety.
