CHANDIGARH: BJP councillor Saurabh Joshi, sought information from the department regarding the functioning of chlorinators. The information supplied by the department is far from the actual facts and the department has tried to evade replying. The issue will rock the MC house meeting today ie July 31. Similarly, regarding formation of committee to accept the material other than specified in Detailed Notice Inviting Tenders (DNIT), the reply says, ‘No”, however the committee was constituted and accepted the inferior quality material. Joshi said, “There are several other gaps, which will be highlighted in the meeting tomorrow.”
