FOUR CASES OF THEFT RE­PORTED

CHANDIGARH: Four cases of thefts were reg­is­tered from across the city.

In the first in­ci­dent, a civil judge hail­ing from Shimla, Gau­rav Ku­mar, re­ported that some­one had stolen his bag con­tain­ing gold or­na­ments worth Rs 1.5 lakh from ISBT-17 on Tues­day.

In an­other in­ci­dent, Rat­tan Chand, a res­i­dent of Sec­tor 32-C, re­ported that some­one had stolen tyres of his Swift car, which was parked in Sec­tor 20-B res­i­den­tial area on Novem­ber 19.

In an­other in­ci­dent, Manik Midha of Zirakpur re­ported that some­one had stolen iron plates and pipes from sew­er­age plant, Raipur Kalan. San­tosh Ku­mar, a res­i­dent of Sec­tor 47, re­ported that some­one had stolen his Pul­sar mo­tor­cy­cle from near his res­i­dence on Novem­ber 26. In all the in­ci­dents, sep­a­rate cases of theft were reg­is­tered.
