FOUR CASES OF THEFT REPORTED
CHANDIGARH: Four cases of thefts were registered from across the city.
In the first incident, a civil judge hailing from Shimla, Gaurav Kumar, reported that someone had stolen his bag containing gold ornaments worth Rs 1.5 lakh from ISBT-17 on Tuesday.
In another incident, Rattan Chand, a resident of Sector 32-C, reported that someone had stolen tyres of his Swift car, which was parked in Sector 20-B residential area on November 19.
In another incident, Manik Midha of Zirakpur reported that someone had stolen iron plates and pipes from sewerage plant, Raipur Kalan. Santosh Kumar, a resident of Sector 47, reported that someone had stolen his Pulsar motorcycle from near his residence on November 26. In all the incidents, separate cases of theft were registered.
