En­joy partly cloudy sky for the next few days

CHANDIGARH: Even as the tem­per­a­ture in the city con­tin­ues to hover around 24 de­gree Cel­sius, the lo­cal me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal cen­tre has pre­dicted partly cloudy sky for the next few days.

Wed­nes­day wit­nessed the max­i­mum tem­per­a­ture at 24.3 de­gree Cel­sius, a notch be­low the nor­mal tem­per­a­ture, while the min­i­mum tem­per­a­ture was recorded at 9 de­gree Cel­sius.

Since the tem­per­a­ture is also low­er­ing, the mois­ture is re­sult­ing in haze and

“The tem­per­a­ture has come down be­cause there is in­flu­ence of west­ern dis­tur­bances in the north­ern part of the coun­try,” said an of­fi­cial from the cen­tre

“Since the tem­per­a­ture is also low­er­ing, the mois­ture is re­sult­ing in haze and mist. Light rain and thun­der­show­ers may also oc­cur at iso­lated places in Haryana and Pun­jab,” the of­fi­cial added.

“Ac­cord­ing to the Dop­pler radar, the sky would re­main partly cloudy for the next few days, and mist or haze could oc­cur dur­ing the night and morn­ing,” the of­fi­cial fur­ther added.
