Champs in search of win
SAS NAGAR: Defending champions Rajasthan had an extended practice session to get acclimatised to the conditions at PCA Stadium, SAS Nagar, ahead of their Ranji Trophy match against hosts Punjab, on Thursday. Led by skipper Hrishikesh Kanitkar, the Rajasthan players spent nearly four hours at nets. A lot will depend on Kanitkar, their highest run-getter this season, to help the team put runs on board. Rajasthan will also be wellserved if Rashmi Parida and Dishant Yagnik also come good with the bat to give their campaign much needed momentum. While Kanitkar has accumulated 209 runs from three matches, Parida and Yagnik have scored 191 and 122, respectively.
