CHANDI­GARH: As many as 600 stu­dents reg­is­tered on­line on the first day of the cen­tralised ad­mis­sions to BCom first year in 12 col­leges of Pan­jab Univer­sity (PU) on Satur­day.

There are a to­tal of 2030 seats in BCom first year - 1,120 seats in co-ed­u­ca­tion col­leges, 770 in women’s col­leges and 140 in men’s col­leges - across Chandi­garh.

The can­di­dates can sub­mit their forms on­line at the web­site bco­mad­mis­ June 23; or, by post/in per­son by 5pm on June 26 at Univer­sity School of Open Learn­ing, Pan­jab Univer­sity.

A PU spokesman said stu­dents ap­ply­ing for BCom-1 were not re­quired to fill pref­er­ences of col­leges given in the ap­pli­ca­tion form, which would be al­lo­cated dur­ing coun­selling. Stu­dents can get de­mand drafts from any sched­ule bank across the coun­try, prefer­ably close to their home town.

In case of er­ror, while fill­ing the on­line form, stu­dents can com­mu­ni­cate the cor­rec­tion on email id bco­mad­mis­[email protected] men­tion­ing their ap­pli­ca­tion form num­ber.
