Passing wrong map: CM asks chief secy to take action against HCS officer
CHANDIGARH:HARYANA chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has directed the chief secretary to take action against Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officer Bijender Kumar, who is posted as joint commissioner of the Yamunanagar Municipal Corporation (MC), and other five civic body officials for getting passed maps of the Thapar Industrial Workers Cooperative Housing Committee Limited, Yamunanagar, in a wrong manner.
Urban local bodies minister Kavita Jain said five officials includedthenexecutiveengineer (Jagadhari MC) Ramesh Madhan (now Ambala MC superintending engineer); municipal secretary Rajender Prasad (now Kharkhoda municipal secretary); then corporation engineer Vinod Gupta (now retired); then building inspector, Surender Verma (now Panchkula Municipal Corporation engineer).
The minister said by the end of 2015, the issue of getting maps passed in wrong manner was raised. After that, district public relations and grievances redressal committee chairman directed the Yamunanagar additional deputy commissioner to investigate the matter.
She said after probe, a departmental proposal was prepared on the basis of the report submitted by the Yamunanagar additional deputy commissioner.
