ROHTAK: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday asked his party men to strengthen BJP’S base at every booth in the state and ignore the “baseless agenda” of opposition parties.

He stated this while chairing the state executive meeting of the BJP at Sonepat on the completion of three years of the firstever BJP government in Haryana.

“The party men have been told that they do not need to pay any heed to the useless issues raised by opposition parties. The truth is that the Opposition has no strong issues to raise against our government, so they often indulge in exaggerating things to attack us,” Khattar said while talking to the media later.

He said the opposition parties raising useless issues will be given a befitting reply by the ruling BJP in the upcoming assembly session, beginning on October 23.

The CM claimed that 60% announcements made by him were implemented while work on the remaining 40% was in progress.

“We have had a successful three years in government. From the next year, we will start preparation for the 2019 assembly polls,” he said.

The executive meet was attended by all cabinet ministers and MLAS, besides BJP national general secretary Anil Jain and Union minister Birender Singh.

Jain said the party workers and MLAS have been told to work on ‘Mera booth sabse mazboot’ formula.

Talking to mediapersons, Birender said the BJP was sure of forming the next government in both poll-bound states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
