Doon, who is leading the investigation in the case, said the police have decided to give a cash award of ₹2 lakh for any clue about the accused.

The police claimed to have recovered CCTV footage in which two suspects were seen, but their faces were covered.

Doon said the accused will be arrested soon. He sought cooperation from the people in sending the accused behind the bars.

The miscreants had snatched the keys of lockers from cashier Sonia at gun point and taken away the gold and cash of ₹ 2.45 lakh. They had also taken away the recorder of the CCTV cameras, leaving the police clueless. There was no security guard appointed by the company, which was running two branches in Karnal for the past six years. The firm had given loans of about Rs 2.82 crore to 427 people.
