Rajiv Jain appointed media adviser to CM
CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government on Friday appointed state BJP media in-charge Rajiv Jain as media adviser to chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Jain, who is husband of urban local bodies and women and child development minister Kavita Jain, hails from Sonepat and is also the chairperson of the state government’s advisory committee for the welfare of denotified tribes (ghumantoo jatis) of Haryana.
Rajiv Jain was general secretary of former chief minister Bansi Lal’s Haryana Vikas Party from 1993 till 2005. He was Bansi Lal’s media advisor during HVPBJP coalition government from 1996 to 1999. Later, he also became BJP’S state vice-president in 2005 after HVP merged in the Congress.

of conflict of interest with the appointment of her husband as Khattar’s media advisor.
Meanwhile, Amit Arya, who held the CM’S media adviser’s post till Thursday, was shifted to Delhi in the same capacity.
