PUNJAB GOVT’S DECISION UNFAIR

The Punjab government’s action against education consultants, travel advisers and English coaching centres across the state is shocking. The aim was to tighten grip over the so-called agents who dupe people. But the people who have been targeted are young and educated citizens venturing into overseas education and immigration industry. This action has rendered thousands of youths unemployed and has jeopardised careers of many who wanted to study overseas. This raises a many questions – Does the government have a concrete plan for employing its youth? Will it be able to provide quality education to thousands of youth? Is maintaining law and order only confined to consultants and police is virtually ignorant about chain-snatching, robbery and thefts
