SABARIMALA: QUESTION OF FAITH, NOT EQUALITY
Apropos ‘Shame at Sabarimala: Why India’s women need a uniform civil code (HT Comment, Oct 20)’, the piece is highly biased. Religious and traditional practices should not be judged by law. This is not a question of women equality, but of faith and tradition. The lone woman judge on the Supreme Court bench gave a dissenting note. The whole exercise is meant to undermine the Hindu faith.
