Supplying money to jail inmates lands 2 in trouble

NEW DELHI: The district police on Sunday booked two persons, including a prisoner, for illegally supplying money to other prisoners in Kapurthala jail, after charging 10%commission from prisoners’ family. The accused, Tirath Nath and Gurjit Singh (the prisoner), both residents of Kapurthala, were working as intermediates between prisoners and kin. They used to supply money to those whose kin could not visit them frequently.
