Prisoner among two booked for supplying money in Kapurthala jail

JALANDHAR: The district police on Sunday booked two persons, including a prisoner, for illegally supplying money to other prisoners in Kapurthala jail, after charging 10 per cent commission from the prisoners’ family.

The accused identified as Tirath Nath and Gurjit Singh (the prisoner), both residents of Kapurthala, were working as intermediates between prisoners and their kins.
