NEW DELHI: India A rode steady fifties from captain KL Rahul (88) and Priyank Panchal (89) to reach a commanding 219/1 at stumps on the second day of their unofficial Test against England Lions in Wayanad on Friday. Rahul, who opened the innings, and Panchal stitched an unbeaten 171-run partnership for the second wicket. Earlier in the day, England Lions lost their last five wickets for just 37 runs as they could reach only 340 despite a solid start.
