PREZ NOD FOR TOUGH GUJ ANTI-TERROR LAW

AHMEDABAD: President Ram Nath Kovind has approved the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime, Bill, 2015 (GCTOC) four years after it was approved by the state assembly in 2015, said state’s minister of state for home, Pradipsinh Jadeja on Tuesday. The proposed law allows intercepted audio conversations and confessions to the police as evidence in a court.
