ENSURE QUALITY EDUCATION IN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES

-

In the field of higher education, there is a clear trade-off between quality and quantity. As many as 21 private universities have been established under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006, in the state. These private establishments are exploiting the stakeholders. This calls for government intervention to ensure quality education in these universities. The Haryana Private Universities Regulatory Authority should be set up and headed by an academician who understands the functioning of these universities fully.

Haryana have been mute spectators due to the massive vote bank which the farming community constitutes. The machinery to cut crop residue, transport and dispose it is expensive. The government must ensure adequate facilities are provided to farmers to dissuade them from burning stubble.
