RTO clerk among 2 booked for forgery

BATHINDA: Two persons, including a clerk in Regional Transport Office (RTO) were booked for forging documents of a car registered in the name of one of the accused.

The complainant alleged that the accused Buta Singh, who is his relative, had taken his Swift Dzire car bearing the registration number DL - 3 CY - 6790 eight months ago, but with the help of Sheetal Singh, a clerk who works in the RTO office, he forged documents of the car and registered the vehicle in his name.
