Pathankot-delhi flight resumes operations

PATHANKOT: Only 12 passengers flew from Pathankot to New Delhi in the resumed air service on Tuesday, which were earlier grounded due to the nationwide lockdown. Fifteen persons had made bookings and three of them cancelled the trip. Dr Ravi Kumar who screened the passengers at the airport said that every passenger underwent thermal scanning, airport authorities had sanitised the airport and the aircraft. Meanwhile, Pathankot-chandigarh bus service was been resumed with three buses plying on this route on Tuesday. Jeevan Kumar, nodal officer of Punjab Roadways said earlier the buses were being run till Hoshiarpur from where, passengers were taking buses for Chandigarh.
