925 labourers leave from Ferozepur Cantt

FEROZEPUR: A Shramik Express with 925 migrants onboard chugged off from Ferozepur Cantt railway station to Bettiah district in Bihar. The Punjab government is bearing all expenses for this, which was around Rs 9.52 lakh. The state government has flagged off 13 trains to UP and Bihar. Executive magistrate Gurtej Singh Gill flagged off the train from Ferozepur. Apart from free travel, state is also ensuring food for migrants who are returning to their native state. A team of the health department screened every migrant at the station.
