6 BOOKED FOR FIRING, ASSAULT

MOHALI : Six persons were booked for firing in the air and assaulting a man after intercepting his vehicle following an argument over a land dispute in Sohana, police said on Tuesday. Gurtej Singh of Kumbra village said that Juggu of Raipur Khurd, Pavitar Singh and Gurpreet Singh of Mauli Baidwan, Gurpreet Singh of Shekhan Majra and other armed persons assaulted him. Meanwhile, accused Gupreet fired in the air with a pistol. Police have registered a case.
