ADIEU TO OUR HOCKEY LEGEND

Balbir Singh Senior, who passed away on Monday, was given a state farewell amidst fans and friends from the sports fraternity. As a centre-forward in the Indian hockey team, he was the backbone of the team. The only Indian among 16 legends chosen by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), he brought laurels to the nation.
