3 SINGERS BOOKED FOR HURTING RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS

LUDHIANA : Ludhiana’s Haibowal police have booked three singers for and owner of a web channel for hurting religious sentiments. The FIR against these three singers has been lodged on a statement of Rajiv Tandon, chairman of the Punjab unit of the Shiv Sena, who has accused them of hurting religious sentiments of the people by using derogatory words against Hindu priests and gods and Goddess Kali. The accused are Brabi Mann of Mohali, Gurcharan Masal of Haryana, Ranjit Khan of Matt Sherewal village and owner of the Facebook web channel, Rehmat.
