TWO HELD FOR ILLEGAL MINING

MOHALI : Police arrested two persons for illegal mining in the Khanpur area of Kharar on Wednesday. Inspector Bhagwant Singh said acting on a tip-off, police arrested operator Sikander Singh, a resident of Sohana village and tractor trolley driver Rajinder Singh, a resident of Badali Kharar village, have been arrested. A case was registered under sections of the Mining and Minerals Act.
