CONGRESS WILL CAMPAIGN AGAINST MODI GOVT: JAKHAR

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Congress president Sunil Jakhar on Sunday said that the central government has failed to manage the Covid-19 pandemic and instead of making arrangements to battle the virus, the Centre continued to send vaccines abroad.

“Now when people are coming forward to give relief to the affected people, FIRS are being registered against them,” said Jakhar adding that the Congress was going to launch a campaign on social media against the NDA government and make the people aware of the ground reality.

Jakhar said Youth Congress national president BV Srinivas has been questioned by the police for public welfare services. In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath-led government was carrying out its repressive policies by lodging cases against those who raise their voice, to tell the truth.

Similar cases have been registered in Delhi too, he added.
