2 men booked for drug peddling flee police custody
BATHINDA: Two men, accused of drug peddling and booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, fled police custody in separate incidents in Bathinda and Mansa on Thursday. Singh and home guards, jawans Jassa Singh and Shamsher Singh, had been booked for dereliction of duty. In the second case, Gurdeep Singh made good his escape from the Bhikhi bus stand in Mansa district on Thursday, while being taken to court.
