Amritsar to get ₹5 Cr for beautification of parks, schools

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government has decided to spend ₹5 crore on beautification of parks and schools in Amritsar city, said local government minister Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar. Of this, ₹1.51 crore will be spent for the redevelopment and beautification of 15 parks in six wards and another ₹3.59 crore on renovation of six schools. The local government department has started the tender process for these works.
