‘Bal Diwas’ a tribute to valour of Sahibzadas

The notification regarding the commemoration of Bal Diwas on December 26 is a welcome decision by the central government. It would be appropriate, with the consultation of Sikh scholars and due cognizance of SGPC, that a new chapter be included in the history books highlighting the valour and sacrifices made by the four Sahibzadas. It should be taught in every school from class 6 onwards and be made a part of the mandatory syllabus.
